Full Salt & Honey Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Salt & Honey, we want you to feel confident and happy with your purchase. In line with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, we will provide a refund or replacement if an item is faulty, damaged, or does not meet acceptable quality.

We offer a 30‑day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.


Change of Mind, Fit, or Style Exchanges

If you change your mind or the item isn’t quite what you expected, we’re happy to offer a credit or exchange, provided the item:

- is returned within 30 days of purchase

- is unworn, unwashed, and unused

- is in its original packaging with all tags and labels attached

- is in resaleable condition

Please note: We cannot accept returns if the original packaging is damaged or if tags/labels have been removed.


Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or does not meet acceptable quality, we will:

- cover the return shipping cost, and

- offer a refund, replacement, or repair depending on the situation

Email us at info@saltandhoney.co.nz with photos and your order number so we can help quickly.


Non‑Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

- Earrings

- Personal care items

- Sale items (unless faulty under the Consumer Guarantees Act)


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Partial refunds may be granted for:

- items not in original condition

- items damaged or missing parts not due to our error

- items returned after 30 days

Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item for the same product or a different size/colour, please email us at info@saltandhoney.co.nz.

You may also exchange items in person at any Salt & Honey store.

Shipping Costs for Returns

- Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs for change‑of‑mind returns

- Shipping costs are non‑refundable

- If your item is faulty, Salt & Honey will cover the return shipping cost

- For items valued over NZ$75, we recommend using a trackable service


Afterpay Purchases

- Online Afterpay purchases can be returned online or in Salt & Honey standalone stores

- In‑store Afterpay purchases must be returned in store only

- Please include your original tax invoice and Afterpay email receipt

- Refunds will be processed through Afterpay, which will adjust your payment schedule or refund payments already made
